Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth

Endeavor to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed worker, cutting straight the word of truth. 2 Tim 2:15 from the Greek text

Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to
be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. KJV
 

Through these writings of the Apostle Paul, instructions have been  given on the proper handling of the Word of God  He stated, that, the bible must be cut straight or divided correctly, this term  informs us that there are divisions in the bible.  Paul states that we must endeavor  as unashamed workers approved unto God,  to distinguish these divisions.  Growing in Grace Ministry believes that the entire Bible  contains the infallible words that God breathed (inspired), for the express purpose of doctrine (teaching), reproof (criticism of a fault), correction and instructions in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16).  However we believe that the Bible must be studied on a time line,  for there were some commandments/ordinances which were applicable in the past, but  aren't  any longer.  There are some ordinances in effect presently, which were not in effect in the past nor will be in the future, as well as some futuristic ordinances  which are not currently relevant.   Thus it is important that we understand, where these changes occur.
